THE BEGINNING?
Created in 1927 to mark the 21st bir thdayof the Laird of Islay House , HughMorrison?s son – John Morrison .It was considered, that the famed singlemalt Laphroaig might be too heavy forever yone?s taste , so the Laphroaig single
malt was blended with a range of high quality Highland malts, including The Glenlivet,balanced with lowland grain whisky.Mr John Morrison, asked for several different blends to be prepared, from which he would one .The blend which most took his fancy, he declared to be , “ pure Islay mi s t ”the name was settled there then .
BRAND EVOLUTION
The result of the whisky proved so popular that it was decided to market a similar blend under?the name of ISLAY MIST.John Morrison went on to become the first Lord Barony Margadale of Islay on the 1
st of January 1965 .The Lord of The Isles seal adorns the bottle ; a testament to its birth on Islay the connection to the Lord of the Isles – Lord Margadale .The origins of the seal can be traced back to viking times the kingdom of the isles that followed .

ISLAY MIST was created on Islay in the1920s using whisky from the LaphroaigDistillery as well as choice Speyside malt
distilleries. Initially blended for the 21stbirthday celebration of the son andheir of the then Lord Margadale, thisgold-medal winning whisky still carries theseal of the Lord of The Isles. Staying true to
the founding recipe, Islay Mist remains theoriginal peated blend with characteristicbalanced smokypeaty tones between
layers of mellow oaky maltiness.Year after year Islay Mist received goldmedals for its flavour. Indeed a preciousliquidbrand termed ‘A jewel’ byleading whisky writer Dave Broom.

ISLAY MIST BLENDED 10YEARS SCOTCH WHISKY is a mixture of mature whiskycontinental whisky, with rich aroma, soft peatsmoky taste, complementing the taste of dried fruitnuts.
Whether its a pure drink, add ice,dilute with water, it can perfectly reflect the excellent taste of this wine.

LAUDER’S BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY
? LAUDER’S Scotch Whisky can be traced back to1834 and the historic Royal Lochnagar vaults inGlasgow, making it one of the oldest blendedScotch whiskies in existence.
? After Archibald Lauder purchased the vaults,the bar became renowned for having a barbershop in the basement where customers couldget a haircut with your drink.
? The name of the bar was later changed toLauder’s and it was here that, thanks to hisblending skills, Archibald Lauder also leant hisname to the Scotch that would become anaward-winning whisky exported across the World.
LAUDER’S BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY
LAUDER’S FINEST is the original blend created by Archibald Lauder in Glasgow back in1834. Originally created to meet the Glaswegian “Sweet-Tooth” of the clientele whofrequented the public houses he owned.Blended from the finest Highland, LowlandSpeyside malts, matured in bourbon oakcasks to create a light, yet fruityfull-bodied Scotch which has been in continuousproduction since 1834.Archibald Lauder ’s very precise blend was soon awarded several gold medals ininternational competitions which can still be seen today on the unique 4 sided dimplebottle.
Tasting Notes
